Kelly Gibson Miller

Kelly Gibson Miller is an Associate with Lumens Law Group PLLC. Kelly’s practice includes complex litigation, intellectual property litigation, and technology transactions/licensing. 

Kelly joined Lumens Law Group upon graduating from SMU Dedman School of Law. While in law school, Kelly served as a judicial extern for U.S. Magistrate Judge David L. Horan of the Northern District of Texas and was a Senior Articles Editor on the SMU Science and Technology Law Review. Kelly also participated in SMU’s Corporate Counsel Externship program, where she gained experience working in the legal department of data and analytics company HundredX, Inc.

Before law school, Kelly graduated from the University of Notre Dame and was a lower elementary and middle school English Language Arts teacher for 7 years.

Pro Bono

As a volunteer for Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL), surveyed tenants experiencing evictions to collect data on how eviction disproportionately impacts certain renter populations 

Volunteered on SMU’s Emergency COVID-19 Legal Helpline, which offered North Texas residents and small businesses free legal assistance with matters related to the COVID-19 pandemic
